Leeds Trinity University - Blue Room Link Corridor

Client: Leeds Trinity University
Contract Value: £1.8 million

The Blue Room Link Corridor follows a campus wide review of circulation and informal learning spaces at the University. One area identified by the Design Team for improvement was the connectivity between students social and teaching spaces.

The new Blue Room link opens up the western side of the campus by creating a new entrance from existing student residents, which in turn creates new links to the University reception and main circulation areas.

The new extension will create new internal and external informal learning spaces, and make better use of existing spaces. The Student Union offices will be extended and remodelled as part of the proposals.

The proposals have been designed to meet BREEAM V.Good criteria.
